Backing up Settings/Files
If you want to backup most of your files/settings go to “SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FPSAimTrainer\FPSAimTrainer\Saved\SaveGames” and copy the files to another location.
If you want to save your KovaaK's Maps or challenge score stats, make sure to backup the folder “SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FPSAimTrainer\FPSAimTrainer”.
¶ Game not Launching or Crashing
- "The application was unable to start correctly (oxc000007b). Click OK to close the application."
- Open command prompt with admin rights then type “sfc /scannow”. When the process is finished, try launching KovaaK's again.
- Reinstall Latest supported Visual C++ Redistributable downloads | Microsoft Docs
- Using overclocking software like MSI Afterburner, etc.
- If yes, disable it, verify game files and then try launching the game
- Verify Steam Game Files through Steam Library > Right-click KovaaK's > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files
- Reinstalling Game on Steam
- Right click game launcher "FPSAimTrainer.exe" -> Properties -> Uncheck if checked (check if unchecked) "Run this program as an administrator"
- Go to this folder %localappdata%\FPSAimTrainer
- Copy “%localappdata%\FPSAimTrainer”
- Press and release Windows Key
- Paste with Ctrl+v
- Press Enter
- Delete file “temp.swp” (Keep in mind this is likely to reset all your KovaaK’s settings.)
- Verify Steam Game Files through Steam Library > Right-click KovaaK's > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files
- Go to this folder %localappdata%\FPSAimTrainer\Saved\SaveGames
- Copy “%localappdata%\FPSAimTrainer\Saved\SaveGames”
- Press and release Windows Key
- Paste with Ctrl+v
- Press Enter and then move everything out of that folder
- Verify Steam Game Files through Steam Library > Right-click KovaaK's > Properties > Local Files
- Unreal Engine Crash “Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION 0x0000000000000000”

Screen-Tearing
Sometimes Windows doesn't like to handle refresh rates properly when games enter fullscreen in ways it doesn't expect. Try alt-enter, alt-enter, and see if that helps at all.
¶ No Graphic/Chart at the end of a challenge
- Make sure you have the option "Challenge Completion" selected on the setting "Statistics Export" ("MAIN" Settings tab)
